Navarro kicked off her campaign on a strong note after decimating Qiang Wang of China 6-0 6-2 and then proceeded to beat former world’s No.1 Noami Osaka 6-4 6-1, promising Russian netter Diana Shnaider and former Grand Slam winner and No.2 seed Coco Gauff 6-4 6-3.
