The Germans have gotten terrific results during their preparation for the Olympic Games, destroying the Netherlands and Japan before pushing Team USA to the limit in their last exhibition game. Japan secured their second consecutive appearance in the Olympic Games after becoming the best Asian finisher at the 2023 FIBA World Cup. Japan features NBA players Rui Hachimura and Yuta Watanabe, and a handful of stars from their domestic league, the B.League.
