The Frenchman is competing in his home Olympics and thus will have extra motivation to push his opponent. Struff is the big favorite looking at the early betting lines, but it wouldn't be the biggest surprise in the world if Moutet caused a bit of an upset here, let's be honest.

I'm not for one minute saying that this will be easy for Corentin Moutet, but I will absolutely argue that the French player has more in his favour here than the early odds suggest. After all, we saw Moutet perform very well at Roland Garros back in May, beating higher-ranked players such as Jarry, who currently ranks above Struff, while he picked up a set against world number one Sinner too. Such form is very hard to ignore. Factor in that Struff hasn't been overly fluid of late, losing a set to Etchverry in Switzerland, before losing to lower-ranked Halys. All in all, there's enough evidence to suggest that a price of -125 for Moutet to win at least one set here is generous.
