It's the clash of the Italian Cup semi-finals! Nothing is decided until the second leg of the derby della Madonnina. Inter Milan and AC Milan played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg. The second leg takes place this Wednesday at 3:00 pm ET at the Stadio Giuseppe-Meazza. In this final sprint, Inter Milan are still in contention for the treble. Currently top of Serie A, the team coached by Simone Inzaghi have qualified for the last four of the Champions League, as well as the Italian Cup.
It's a different story for AC Milan. The Rossoneri clearly failed to live up to expectations this term. Admittedly, they did win the Italian Supercup. However, they were knocked out of the Champions League early on, and are only in 9th place in Serie A. Sergio Conceiçao's men will certainly be betting everything on the Italian Cup at the end of the season.
