Unbeaten Inter Miami host FC Dallas on Sunday night, as they aim to move to the top of the MLS Eastern Conference. Despite their glittering array of attacking talent, defence has been the main reason for Inter's success so far this season. They have now gone over 220 minutes without conceding a goal and their backline has been breached just six times in their opening eight games - the joint best record in MLS.
Dallas have also been leaning heavily on their defence over the last few weeks, and thanks to a record of just three goals conceded in their last five games, they have moved into the Western Conference playoff places. However, head coach Eric Quill has struggled to find a regular goalscorer at the other end of the field, and last week's 0-0 stalemate with Minnesota highlighted Dallas's lack of attacking potency.

These are two of the strongest defences in MLS, so we are not expecting too much goalmouth action on Sunday night. However, we have to give the overall edge to Inter, as any side featuring the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez is virtually guaranteed to score at some point.
