They finished last season with an NBA record of 28 losses. The Pacers, on the other hand, will look to build on their solid 2023-24 season that saw them win a playoff series for the first time in a decade. They defeated Milwaukee Bucks in a stretchy six-game series before outsmarting the Knicks in the Eastern Conference semis.
