This weekend, the UFC Fight Night will return with an action-packed card at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. Ian Machado Garry (15-10) versus Carlos Prates (21-6-0) is the main highlight in an exciting welterweight showdown. Ian "The Future" Garry will enter the Octagon with a solid UFC record of nine wins and one loss. Unfortunately, that loss came in December last year against Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310. He will undoubtedly look to bounce back from his first career loss.
Carlos "The Nightmare" Prates, on the other hand, is still on a roll in the franchise, a record he will fight at all costs to protect. He hasn't lost since making his UFC debut in August 2023, defeating Mitch Ramirez in the second round via a KO/TKO punch. This has been his trademark winning style in the franchise, with Neil Magny being the latest victim to his KO/TKO punches in November 2024. He's certainly not taking any prisoners in the UFC.
