Texas Tech is coming off a dominant 73-51 win over West Virginia which was needed after losing on the road to unranked TCU the game prior. The Red Raiders are averaging over 81ppg which ranks them in the top 30 in the country. Their offense will be tested in this game. The Cougars boast a defense that ranks 3rd in the country in KenPom’s adjusted defensive efficiency. They will look to frustrate Texas Tech and hold them below that 81ppg average. The Cougars offense is now slouch either. They are ranked 7th in KenPom’s rankings and have putting up just over 75ppg on the season. They are currently on a 6-game winning streak and have won 19 of their last 20 games. Their lone loss came to Texas Tech team back in early February. In that 82-81 loss, the Cougars shot an abysmal 35.7% from long range, which was much lower than their 40% on the season.
