The fourth and final match of the day takes place in Lille. It's a great match-up between Germany and Brazil. The Mannschaft can already qualify for the quarter-finals of the competition if they win. In the first match, Dennis Schröder and his teammates didn't have to exert their talents to overcome Japan (78-66). One might have thought that the defending champions would feel a little pressure in their opening game, but this was not the case - quite the contrary. On the contrary, they showed an absolutely impressive sense of mastery and control! And yet, in the first half, Japan put up some resistance thanks to their excellent outside skills. However, the undermining paid off and the Germans made the difference in the second half. Dennis Schröder transformed himself into a caviar distributor with 12 assists. For their part, Brazil were not very inspired against France (78-66). Their leader, Bruno Caboclo, was ghostly and didn't score a single point.
