Berrettini reached the quarterfinal for the first time season at the 2025 Qatar Open. The Italian stunned Novak Djokovic 7-6(4) 6-2 in the first round and edged Tallon Griekspoor 7-6(4) 6-7(6) 6-4 in a three-set banger in the second round. He lost in the quarterfinal to Jack Draper, but did give the Brit a run for his money.
