Buoyed by back-to-back wins over Billy Harris and Jacob Fearnley in the Davis Cup qualifiers, Nakashima converted on all his serves and scored the big points down the stretch to advance into the next round.

Although I am a fan of Frances Tiafoe, he hasn’t gone deep in any tournament he competed in since reaching the semis of the US Open.
