Meanwhile, Martic also got a lucky loser nod at the 2025 Australian Open, but unlike Lys, she did not get past the first round, falling to Jaqueline Cristian 6-2 4-6 7-6(7). Martic earned her spot in this tournament with back-to-back wins over Liel Marlies Rothensteiner 6-4 6-1 and Zeynep Sonmez 6-4 6-3 in the qualifiers.
