After beating Rayo Vallecano and Alavés at home, Espayol lost three consecutive games in La Liga and are currently just two points away from relegation. They have a good chance to at least get back to scoring when they face Mallorca, who are in very good form, however, winning their last three games all by one goal and this will be their third consecutive away game.

Mallorca stands out as one of the most solid defences, since matchday 1 when they drew very meritoriously against Real Madrid, only Villareal has been able to score 2 or more goals in a game. Only Atlético de Madrid has conceded fewer goals than the pirates. However, Espayol has not been an easy opponent for them, and they have not beaten them at Cornellá since 2011 in the top flight.

Espayol will play on Saturday with a reduced squad, Cabrera and Exposito will not be there due to injuries. Even at home, the moment seems to be favorable for the visitors, who will have odds of +155 to win the match in the 90 minutes.
