Into the second week of the action of the event at Indian Wells, Tuesday evening brings us a very interesting match between Elena Rybakina and Mirra Andreeva. This is a match between two players who are now quite closely matched according to the WTA Rankings, so there may not be much between them when they get down to business, which is something that we've seen in previous renewals of this fixture. 

On a journey to get back to not only the top of her game but the top of the sport in general, Elena Rybakina comes into this match off the back of a rather commanding win against Katie Boulter, which followed a routine victory over Suzan Lamens. Her reward for those two victories? A match against teenage sensation Mirra Andreeva, who beat the Kazakh player just a few weeks ago in Dubai. Having lost to her younger opponent in the semi-finals on that occasion, Rybakina will be hoping to get her revenge. Can she do it? 

Continually moving in the right direction, Mirra Andreeva is now up to 11th in the WTA Rankings, and it's fair to say she comes into this match in the form of her young life. The Russian kicked on in Dubai after beating Rybakina, by winning the final against Tauson, lifting the title, before delivering two more convincing wins at this tournament. The 17-year-old superstar has now won eight matches on the spin. Will she make it nine?
