Madison Keys comes into this match as a narrow favourite, though I'd argue that she should be priced shorter, making her a good bet at current odds. Yes, Shnaider arrives in good form, but she hasn't really been beating players of Keys' quality. We shouldn't forget that it's only a matter of months since we saw Madison Keys appear in a US Open semi-final. Moreover, the Russian doesn't have a particularly encouraging recent hard-court record against better players, losing eight of her last 11 hard-court contests against against higher-ranked players. I'm thus taking Keys to recover her US Open form and get back on the up with a win in this match.
