This is due to the recent but absolute dominance of Flaherty, who has a WHIP of 0.96, 94 strikeouts and a streak of 11.2 innings without allowing a run and striking out 13. Tigers have won in 3 of Flaherty's last 4 starts.

In collective batting, the Astros are at least top 7 in all offensive categories but this has been little reflected in their record of 31-38. Both teams are 5-5 in last 10 games.
