Daria Kasatkina of Australia will take on Lauren Davis of the United States, aiming to win her first match since switching federation.

After playing in six finals on the WTA Tour last year, the former world’s No.8 hasn’t yet appeared in any championship match in 2025, sporting a 9-8 record. Kasatkina has lost four of his last five matches, including a 3-6 6-4 7-5 loss to Hailey Baptiste in the second round of the 2025 Miami Open. Davis arranged a second-round clash with Kasatkina after outgunning compatriot Jamie Loeb 3-6 6-1 6-3. Davis is 7-5 this season and still winless against the WTA top-100.
