The Canadian defeated Eva Veeder of Netherlands 4-6 6-3 6-2, No.6 seed Yue Yuan of China 6-4 6-4, and Grand Slam winner Noami Osaka of Japan 6-4 3-6 7-6(3) to arrange a semis duel with Galfi.
