The Dallas Mavericks (39-42) visit the Memphis Grizzlies (47-34) on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the FedEx Forum.

This is the fourth time that the Mavericks and Grizzlies will face each other this season. The Grizzlies have won two of those three games by an average winning margin of 13 points. This final regular season matchup is filled with playoff implications for both teams.

The Mavericks need to win this game to have a chance at a homecourt advantage in their play-in matchup against the Sacramento Kings. It will be extra difficult for them, though. They've just ruled out superstar big man Anthony Davis, who is nursing a left adductor strain.

The good news for the Mavericks is that they're possibly facing a short-handed Grizzlies squad. The Grizzlies currently have a handful of key players on their injury report, including Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., Desmond Bane, and Santi Aldama. Brandon Clarke and Jaylen Wells are sitting out as well.

Of course, the Mavericks are also missing Davis, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, and PJ Washington. But they still have key rotational pieces around, including Spencer Dinwiddie, Daniel Gafford, Dante Exum, and Naji Marshall. The Mavericks have enough to pull off this victory against the Grizzlies.
