Two teams that have made quite positive starts to the 2025 Major League Soccer campaign will locks horns at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday evening. In front of a home crowd, the Rapids, who currently sit in a respectable seventh place in the Western Conference, will be looking to bounce back following a defeat in Vancouver last weekend, though they probably won't have to try too hard to get over that, especially since they've been in pleasing form in general, winning three of their last five, getting the job done when last playing on home soil. 

MLS newbies San Diego FC continued to impress last weekend, winning yet another game, this time beating the Seattle Sounders, delivering a result that sent them up to second in the Western Conference table. It's now two wins on the bounce for Saturday's visitors, who already look like a team that could cause problems for most opposition. They did taste defeat when last on the road, but they've won two of their last three away games, so don't be too surprised if they make life tough for the Rapids.
