After a high-scoring game 1, the Los Angeles Angels of Aneheim and Cleveland Guardians resume their series at Angel Stadium on Saturday.
The Angels scored six runs in the series-opener versus the Guardians on Friday, but as expected, poor pitching once again dragged Los Angeles down in a 6-8 loss. Los Angeles owns the sixth-worst ERA in baseball at 5.06. On Saturday, the Angels will be sending Jack Kochanowicz, who threw two earned runs over six innings in a 3-2 win against the Chicago White Sox on March 30.
Meanwhile, Jose Ramirez belted three home runs to power the Guardians to a much-needed win, snapping a three-game skid. The Guardians are batting .237 with 28 runs this season. Cleveland tapped Tanner Bibee to start on Saturday. Bibbee shut out the Royals in 5.2 innings in a 6-2 win on March 30.
