Carlos Alcaraz will begin another clay court title bid on Tuesday, taking on Ethan Quinn of the United States in the first round of the 2025 Barcelona Open.

Facing Alcaraz in the first round is 21-year-old Ethan Quinn, who qualified for the main draw after a pair of three-set wins over Corentin Moutet and Borna Coric. Quinn holds a career 11-12 record on the clay but has already compiled a 22-10 record this year.
