Even though they may be eight points behind Real Madrid in the current standings, FC Barcelona still has their sights set on the La Liga title. To do so, the Catalans will need a perfect end to the season, in order to put the pressure on their biggest rivals, especially as a decisive classico is coming up very soon at the Santiago Bernabeu (April 21). Xavi's team will approach this trip to southern Spain with confidence, following their midweek 3-2 victory over PSG at the Parc des Princes. Despite the fact that their minds may be focused on the return leg of that matchup, just around the corner, Barcelona will be keen to get the job done this Saturday and maintain their positive momentum (currently at 5 consecutive wins in all competitions) before hosting the Parisian squad next week. This weekend, we head to Cadiz for the 31st gameday of La Liga. The Submarino Amarillo are fighting for their survival in the top flight, and with a 3-point deficit on the first non-league side, the situation could become critical if they lose again this weekend, if Celta Vigo, currently leading the way, is able to pull off a win. However, Mauricio Pellegrino's players are still on the back of two consecutive home wins over Granada (1-0) and Real Sociedad (2-0), and are keen to keep their hopes alive. While it's likely that Cadiz's chances of staying in the top flight will be decided in the next couple confrontations, a single point (or more!) against Barça would be a positive step, and for that to happen, Cadiz will need to put in their best performance of the season.
