The Indiana Pacers put their two-game win streak at stake on Thursday against the Brooklyn Nets at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Pacers have scored back-to-back wins against Minnesota 132-130 OT and Dallas 135-131 to strengthen their position in the East Western conference standings. Powered by their high-octane offense, Indiana has breached the 130-point mark for two consecutive games, with All-Star Pascal Siakam standing out as a reliable three-level scorer for the squad. Siakam averages 24.8 points on 55 FG% in the last 9 games.
The Nets took their 11th loss in 13 games on Tuesday, coming up short against the Boston Celtics 96-104. Similar to what had happened three days ago when the Nets took the defending championship down the wire in a 113-115 loss, Brooklyn raced to an early lead that ballooned to as high nine points before experiencing another late-game collapse after letting Boston score 33 points in the fourth quarter.
