The Premier League's festive 18th round continues on Friday when Brighton host Brentford at the Amex Stadium. The bookies have set the Game Total's even match at a high 3.25, but that seems about right considering that 16 of Brighton's 17 games have seen goals from both teams and that Brentford, on the other hand, are the 4th best offence in the Premier League with 32 goals scored and 32 conceded but the 4th worst defence.

As for the 1X2, Brighton, despite losing on December 15 at the Amex Stadium against Crystal Palace, will be favourites at odds of -149 to take all three points against Brentford. Partly because the underdogs have had a terrible away performance, being bottom of the Premier League with 1 point out of 24 possible away from the Brentford Community Stadium. However, the Congolese striker Yoane Wissa is in a very good form, both at home and away. Since missing three Premier League games due to injury, he is 9th in the Premier League's top scorers list with nine goals, including one against Newcastle Utd in the last away game.

The Seagulls will want to counter Wissa's goals with goals of their own from Joao Pedro, who, however, has not yet scored a goal in December after a November in which he scored two.
