The Lightning snapped a four-game skid with a 3-2 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on January 7. Brayden Point scored a tiebreaking goal with barely minute left in regulation to notch a win for Tampa Bay, who improved to 21-14-2 (fourth in the Atlantic Division standings).
