The Baltimore Ravens (7-4 SU, 5-5-1 ATS) visit the Los Angeles Chargers (7-3 SU, 7-3 ATS) in a game where both teams have a chance to make a statement. The Ravens have normally had no problem in this type of game, as they’ve used games like this to show the separation between themselves and also-rans. That didn’t happen last time out against Pittsburgh, but the Ravens have had problems with the Steelers for years.
The Chargers haven’t yet shown that they can beat a team like Baltimore. Against their three playoff opponents, the Chargers have gone 0-3 and they haven’t topped 15 points in any of those games. Los Angeles has improved under Jim Harbaugh, but it’s the kind of team that has to rely on its defense to get the job done. If the defense has a bad day, the offense really can’t save them.

On one hand, the Chargers looked a lot more impressive against those teams than other playoff teams have, but on the other, they also still haven’t done anyone but beat the bad teams on their schedule.
At their worst, the Ravens can be beaten by just about anyone, but at their best, they’re capable of some huge numbers.
