Baltimore Ravens vs Buffalo Bills Prediction & Picks - NFL
by Travis Pulver in NFL Picks
The Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs will conclude Sunday night with the Baltimore Ravens taking on the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET, and fans can find the game on CBS/Paramount+. The Ravens destroyed the Bills 35-10 in Week 4 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore but still opened as one-point underdogs. However, the line has since shifted, and the Ravens can be found at -1 and -1.5 points.
Baltimore got their spot in the playoffs by winning the AFC North with a 12-5 record, earning them a date with a division rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers. While the Steelers briefly made it interesting in the third quarter when they pulled to within seven, 21-14, the Ravens were never in danger of losing.
As for the Bills, Buffalo earned a date with the Denver Broncos in the Wild Card round after winning the AFC East with a 13-4 record. Josh Allen, the Bills easily dominated the Broncos 31-7, giving them the right to host the Ravens in the Divisional Round.

Baltimore Ravens - Buffalo Bills: Form Analysis
With how Josh Allen and the rest of the offense are playing along with the defense, this season has been deemed by many to be ‘the one’ for the Buffalo Bills. Many believe Allen to be the NFL MVP this season. They’ve got a top-ten offense in total yards, passing yards, and rushing yards, but the unit is second in the league in scoring (30.9 ppg). As for the defense, while teams have had success moving the ball on them, the Bills defense is No. 11 in scoring, allowing 21.6 ppg.
As for Baltimore, like Allen, Lamar Jackson is believed by many to be worthy of winning NFL MVP. While his season has been impressive, the team owes more of its success to Derek Henry, who had 1900+ yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground. Defensively, they had some struggles early on in the season, but since they outscored teams, it didn’t matter. However, only three teams scored 20+ points in the back half of the season, and no one got over 17 in the last four.

Baltimore Ravens & Buffalo Bills Squad Analysis
Buffalo’s defense was down three starters in the regular season matchup vs. the Ravens that saw Derek Henry run over them, leading Baltimore to a 35-point day. But the entire defense is on track to be healthy and ready to go for the rematch with the Ravens this weekend. On the offensive side of the ball, some of the depth is in question with running back Ray Davis and offensive lineman Alec Anderson on the injury report. Both were limited participants on Wednesday.
Baltimore enters the game relatively healthy with only one very important exception—wide receiver Zay Flowers. He missed the wild card game with a knee injury and is the only player not a full participant in practice as of the middle of the week. If he can’t go, his absence will be felt in the passing game. While the passing game looked good vs. the Steelers last week, the Bills defense will be tougher.
Baltimore Ravens - Buffalo Bills Key Points

Our Baltimore Ravens vs Buffalo Bills Prediction
Buffalo needs to do two things to win the game: (1) hold Derek Henry to under 100 yards rushing (he had under 100 in all five losses), and (2) Josh Allen needs to throw for 200+ yards. That way, he can get some points on the scoreboard and force Baltimore to throw more than they want to. When the Ravens get forced to throw, the offense typically doesn’t work out.
Can they do it? Well—it’s possible. Lamar Jackson has not played well in a divisional-round game, and I’m not confident he will this weekend. He needs Derek Henry to break the Bills defense down, and I don’t think it will happen this time. The UNDER (51.5) may be the better bet, but I like the value in Buffalo’s moneyline as long as it has plus-money odds.
