The No. 1 Auburn Tigers will try to put their first SEC loss of the season behind them when they take on the Vanderbilt Commodores at Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville, TN. Tipp-off for this SEC matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, with the game set to be broadcast on the SEC Network.
Vanderbilt is not a bad team, but the Commodores are going to be facing an excellent Auburn team that’s going to be out for blood. Why? Not only did they lose their first SEC game over the weekend, but it also happened at home. So, yeah—they’ll be looking to prove something in this game. However, as good as Auburn is on paper, Vanderbilt has already recorded a few epic upsets this season: vs. No. 6 Tennessee (76-75, Jan. 18) and No. 9 Kentucky (74-69, Jan. 25). The game is on the Commodores’ home court where they are 12-1 this season (the loss against then-No. 14 Mississippi State 76-64. Vanderbilt is coming in hot, having just beaten Texas 86-78. Auburn is the first of six consecutive games vs. ranked teams for the Commodores.
