He has allowed 6 earned runs in just 10 innings of work to this point. The Braves, 7-3 on the year and winners of 4 of their last 5 will counter with Max Fried. Although, Fried has been struggling early just like Rogers. While he has not factored into a decision, he is carrying an 18.00 ERA and was tagged for 7 runs on just 4.1 innings against the Diamondbacks. The bats have remained hot though and the Braves lead the majors in average (.306) and slugging (.512). Ozzie Albies is hitting .310 with 6 extra base hits and 12 RBIs. The Braves early success has been mainly due to their strong offense. Their combined ERA is 4.30 which is 17th in the league. Without those hot bats, their record could easily be flipped.

This play is a no-brainer. Granted, we are laying a good amount of juice here at almost 1:2 but it should be worth the risk. The Braves are all hitting the ball well and while Fried has shown some holes in his game early on, there is no better team to get right with more than these Marlins. Braves should win this one going away but the juice is not too much for us to take the run line, the money line is worthy of the price.
