Atlanta (44-34) will make up their postponed game with the White Sox (21-61) from back at the beginning of April on Thursday afternoon. The Braves have won 9 of their last 13 games and are trying to climb to the top of the NL East. For Chicago, it has been more of the same in a season that has seemingly been off the rails from the start. They have lost 4 straight and 7 of their last 8 games. They are last in the league in all major hitting categories and near the bottom in all pitching categories. In this makeup game with the Braves, they will see a former familiar face in Chris Sale (10-2, 2.91) on the mound for the visiting Braves. Sale has finally had a good run of staying healthy and his numbers show that he certainly still has his top stuff when he is available. He will face Chad Kuhl (0-0, 6.75) who has been making appearances in relief in the 3 games he has played. It is unsure exactly how long he will go in this one for Chicago who may decide to make this just a bullpen start.
