Two sides looking for their first ever Champions League title clash in the semi finals of Europe's premier competition on Tuesday night, as Arsenal host PSG at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal produced two sublime performances in the quarter finals to thrash holders Real Madrid 5-1 on aggregate, whilst PSG had to withstand a ferocious late onslaught by Aston Villa to prevail 5-4 over two legs.
The teams met during the league phase of the competition, when first half goals from Kai Havertz and Bakayo Saka gave the Gunners a comfortable 2-0 victory. Arsenal also held the upper hand at the end of the league phase, as their third place finish saw them automatically qualify for the last 16, while PSG had to settle for a play off spot after finishing in 15th. Overall, the teams have met on five previous occasions, with Arsenal winning two of the contests and the other three ending all square.

Despite that loss, PSG still have an unassailable 23 point lead in Ligue 1 and with a French Cup final against Reims coming up next month, it could still end up being the greatest season in the club's 55 year history.
