The No. 1 Duke Blue Devils will try to take the next step in the march to the national championship when they face the No. 4 Arizona Wildcats. Gametime for this Big 12/ACC battle is scheduled for 9:39 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 27.
The Blue Devils had one major concern heading into the Tournament— Cooper Flagg’s health. It was a scary moment when he sprained his ankle in the ACC tournament. But he appeared fine in limited action vs. Mount St. Mary’s in the first round and played well in 29 minutes against Baylor (18 points, nine rebounds, six assists). With a healthy roster, Duke may be the toughest out in the Tournament. Arizona had an easy time in their first-round matchup, as well, handling No. 13 Akron 93-65. Five players scored in double digits for the Wildcats, led by Jaden Bradley with 19. However, in the second round, Arizona had a much tougher time, falling behind by 15 at one point but winning by four, 87-83. Once again, five players scored in double digit,s with Caleb Love leading the way with 29 points.
Duke and Arizona met early in the season in Tucson. Duke was a 1.5-point underdog but won by 14 points, 69-55.
