The hosts will come into this matchup looking sharp after already playing eight matches in the Liga Nacional de Guatemala. They are second in the Clausura standings, having won five and lost two of their assignments. In their last matchup, they defeated Xinabajul 6-0. Seattle Sounders, on the other hand, will be playing their first competitive match this season. The 2022 CONCACAF Champions Cup winners became the last club to book a place in this continental assignment after LA Galaxy won the MLS Cup.
