On Tuesday, top-tier tennis is back on our screens as the WTA action in Miami, home of the Miami Open, begins. There are lots of matches taking place, including one between Anhelina Kalinina and Victoria Azarenka, who will meet for the second time in 2025 having recently faced each other in Dubai. Now very much into the twilight of her career, former world number one and one-time Grand Slam winner Victoria Azarenka will likely fancy herself to do well this week. The Belarusian has won this tournament not once but twice before, taking the title in both 2009 and 2016. She'll be looking to bounce back having lost to Qinwen Zheng was last in action, but she'll probably feel confident of doing that, especially having beaten Anhelina Kalinina as recently as last month. 

Anhelina Kalinina, who is currently ranked 23 places below Tuesday's opponent, did lose to Victoria Azarenka in Dubai, but it was a tight match, so the Ukrainian probably won't be feeling too downbeat about this match. Then again, despite often pushing players into a third set, she had found it tough to get the job done of late.
