Alejandro Tabilo of Chile will go head-to-head with Jenson Brooksby of the United States in Wednesday's second round of the 2025 Men’s Clay Court Championship.
The start of the clay court season gives Tabilo a chance to reignite his campaign after limping out of the first quarter of the 2025 ATP season with a 2-8 record. The Chilean enjoyed a breakout last year after playing in three finals and winning two ATP Tour titles. Despite his current woes, Tabilo is expected to play better during the clay court season because of his terrific 212-136 record on the red dirt.
Meanwhile, Brooksby is steadily regaining his flow after missing the action on the tour last year due to suspension and injuries. The American has won five of his last seven matches, including three straight here in Houston, to reach the second round of the US Men’s Clay Court Championship.

Our Alejandro Tabilo vs Jenson Brooksby Prediction
When he’s in his element, Tabilo is a dangerous opponent for anyone on the ATP Tour. However, Tabilo’s current form does not strike fear into the hearts of anyone. He’s 2-8 this season and has lost all his opening matches during the South American clay court swing of the ATP Tour. Brooksby, meanwhile, is steadily gaining steam over the past weeks following a shaky start to his 2025 campaign. I won’t be surprised if the American pulls off an upset because of how well he has played in his last three matches.
