2025 UCL & Europa Leage Quarter Finals: Five Best Goal Scorer Bets
by Sam Cox | by Tyler Doty

This is one of the best weeks of the season when it comes to making soccer predictions. We have two Champions League matches on Tuesday, two more on Wednesday, and four Europa League fixtures on Thursday to get stuck into.
Stakes are high, atmospheres will be bouncing. These are legacy-defining nights for players and managers, particularly those who have struggled to conquer continental competition in the past.
Many of the world’s best players are in action at cathedrals of soccer across the continent.
Michael Olise to Score or Assist -- +145 at FanDuel
Michael Olise has seven Champions League goal involvements to his name. He’s also notched five goal contributions in his last three matches for club and country, making him one of Europe’s in-form forwards.
It’s easy to get lured in by Harry Kane as the premier betting option in Bayern Munich goal scorer markets. Kane has 10 goals to his name in the competition, and he’s scored in four consecutive games.
Olise, though, is a way to cover some extra bases. Kane’s price to score anytime is shorter than Olise’s to record a goal or an assist. A mazy dribbler averaging over two key passes per match across all competitions, Olise is a good option at this price.
Kylian Mbappe to Score Anytime -- +200 at FanDuel
After four goals against Manchester City in the playoff, Kylian Mbappe is in the mix for the Champions League top scorer honor. Mbappe started his first season in Madrid slowly by his standards, with only eight goals before Nov. 24.
He’s scored 24 goals across all competitions since then. This is shaping up to be a vintage season from the Frenchman, and we think he’s an excellent price to find the net, even against a stubborn Arsenal defense.
This Real Madrid attack has lived up to how formidable it looked on paper. Breathtaking in transition, Arsenal are going to be vulnerable to Vinicius, Mbappe, and Rodrygo when they commit players forward.
Robert Lewandowski to Score Two or More-- +360 at DraftKings
Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the only players with more Champions League goals than Robert Lewandowski. The Pole has a better goals-per-game ratio than either the Argentine or Portuguese, and he’s not shown any signs of slowing down.
Erling Haaland is the only player with more expected goals per 90 minutes than Lewandowski this season. Across all competitions, Lewandowski has 11 braces this term, and he’s no stranger to success in the knockout rounds with over 30 career Champions League knockout goals.
Facing his former team in Borussia Dortmund, we fancy a big performance from the Barcelona striker. Dortmund have really struggled this season, and sit in mid-table in the Bundesliga.
Bruno Fernandes to Score or Assist -- +135 at FanDuel
Bruno Fernandes has scored or assisted eight of Manchester United’s last 10 goals. Lyon haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last three matches and has the second-worst expected goals against per 90 minutes of the eight teams left in the Europa League.
Manchester United’s attack has flattered to deceive at points, but their expected goals tally is the best in the competition. Fernandes is in the top 20 among Europa League players in non-penalty expected goals per 90 minutes plus non-penalty expected assists per 90.
Joshua Zirkzee, Alejandro Garnacho, and Rasmus Højlund have been ineffective. United’s attack is dependent on Fernandes for chance creation and finishing, so this seems like a good bet against a Lyon defense which has a tendency to leak chances.
Václav Cerny to Score Anytime -- +390 at FanDuel
Václav Cerny has scored six Europa League goals after a brace against Fenerbahce last month. Cerny has the seventh-highest expected goals per 90 minutes of players left in the competition and a higher mark than any Athletic Club player.
The Czech forward averages 3.6 shots per match in the Europa League compared with 2.9 in the Scottish Premiership.
This is a competition Cerny has enjoyed in 2024/25. With 12 of his 19 goals across all competitions coming at Ibrox, look for the former FC Twente man to find the net on Thursday night. This value is hard to ignore with Cerny’s track record.
