2025 NFL Draft Odds Show Clear Favorite Leading the Pack

The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off today, April 24, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It's a historic event as all 32 teams hold a first-round pick for the first time ever. The draft runs through April 26, with elite college players like Miami quarterback Cam Ward and Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty expected to be top picks.
Top Prospects
The 2025 NFL Draft features some incredible talent across various positions. Here are a few of the top prospects listed at the top sportsbooks, but bettors can also expect some surprise results, as well:
Ward is expected to be the top pick in this year's NFL Draft. With the Tennessee Titans likely to select him as their franchise quarterback, he brings an impressive college career to the table.
Ward has broken records for passing touchdowns and earned accolades, such as ACC Player of the Year. His confidence and adaptability in competitive environments make him a standout talent, which is why sportsbooks have almost no doubt he'll be selected early.

Beyond First Pick
Travis Hunter, a standout prospect from Colorado, is a remarkably versatile player who shines both as a cornerback and wide receiver. His exceptional athleticism and impressive ball skills make him a game-changing talent on the field. He's at +5000 to be the first pick and -1350 to be taken second.

Surprise Picks and Long Shots
Will Johnson, a defensive back at Michigan, is yet another standout player in this draft class. With his outstanding size, speed, and instincts, Johnson has been a dominant player on the secondary. His ability to read plays and react quickly allows him to close off opposing receivers very efficiently.

His potential to become a shutdown corner has scouts and front offices drooling to acquire his talent. He's not listed as an option for the second overall selection, but FanDuel gives him +15000 as first or third.
Jeanty, a Boise State running back and 2024 Heisman Trophy runner-up, is a fun and dynamic player to watch. With great vision, balance, and ability to make plays, he will become a factor at the next level.
He could be a solid selection as the second pick, where he's getting +13000 from FanDuel – he's also getting +15000 as the number one overall pick, but there's tough competition for this spot.
Michigan's Mason Graham, a formidable defensive tackle, is a presence that's felt on the field. His power and strength at stopping the run and his ability to be a disruptor in the interior are vital defensive assets.
He's +15000 for any of the top three spots, but being picked fourth (+3400) or fifth (+320) appears far more likely.
