What is the Edit my Bet feature at Bwin?
It’s not easy working out your bets and a good amount of research or reading our expertly written previews is needed. Once you’ve finally worked everything out and placed your bets, what if you want to change your mind? You can do just that with this excellent promotion at Bwin.
How does the Edit my Bet feature work?
There’s a lot of research needed to decide your bets but even then you might want to change them. What if you suddenly find out that Harry Kane isn’t going to be playing for Tottenham and you’ve just bet on them to win their next game? You could reduce your stake on Tottenham, delete or even decide that now you want to bet on the other team.
Then again, the opposition might reveal some key injuries and Kane will be fit and that increases the chances of Tottenham winning. With the Bwin Edit my Bet feature you can now change your wager and decide perhaps to increase your stake on Tottenham to win the match.
To do this, you need to go to the ‘My Bets’ section of the Bwin account and select ‘Edit my Bet.’ Make the changes that you wish to make and then save the new version of your bet.
You can’t use this feature on every single game, just selected events, fixtures and markets. It is available both before the event and during it. When you do request a change, the current wager is subject to a Cash Out before the new edited change is made official.
While you are trying to edit your bet, there is the possibility that the odds will change or a market will be suspended. This will particularly be the case if you do it in-play. This may lead to your Edit my Bet request not being accepted. It’s a bit like when you want to cash out your bet and then suddenly a goal is scored in the match.
If however, the Edit My Bet request is successful, the new bet will be placed using an amount that is the same as the Cash Out of the original bet and if possible, the increased/reduced stake selected during the process of using the Edit My Bet feature, Just check the ‘My Bets’ section in your account.
The event you wish to make an edit on might not be one that Bwin will be covering live. If this is the case then only before the start of the event can your bet be edited.
How Best to use the Edit My Bet Feature
A bit like the Cash Out feature, a lot of thought has to be put into using Edit My Bet. You can cash out a bet and then go on to realise if you’d let the bet go onto its natural conclusion, you would have won more cash. The same applies here, you can edit your bet but in a way that sees a lower return or turn the bet into a losing one.
Follow the news and look for items that might make you want to change your bet. Injuries for example as previously mentioned on this page. It’s a great feature but you have to be careful with it. Think hard before editing your bet but although it can result in higher winnings, just remember sometimes it won’t.
