How long does Betfair withdrawal take?
Financial transactions are an important part of your dealings with an online bookmaker. At Betfair, there is a good selection of payment methods that can be used to make deposits and withdrawals. This article will look at the various payment methods available and look at how long it will take funds to reach your account.
There is no standard time when it comes to the time it takes a withdrawal to return to your account. Different methods take a variety of times but the most important factor is that any withdrawal will safely make it back to you and not be subject to any fraud.
When you make a withdrawal from your Betfair account, it must be to the same payment method that you use to make deposits. Now let’s look at the different payment methods available.
- Debit cards
- Fast Funds
- e-wallets
- Apple Pay
- Bank Transfers
- Debit Cards
Betfair accepts a number of debit cards as payment methods. This includes Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta, Solo and Visa Electron. Whereas a deposit from a debit card sees monies instantly transferred into your account, it is a different story when making withdrawals. Generally, they will take between two to five working days to return to your account. This is totally out of the control of Betfair. A withdrawal made on a Monday can be in your account on Wednesday. Those made Friday to Sunday will take a bit longer. One made on Saturday or Sunday should be in your account on Wednesday.
Fast Funds
This lives up to its name with funds being back in your account in seconds and at most two hours. It is available in the UK, Spain and Ireland and needs to be made to a Visa Delta card or prepaid card. More banks are accepting this payment method, so that will hopefully greatly speed up withdrawal times.
e-Wallets
If you are looking for swift withdrawals then there are some e-wallets that you can choose from. With PayPal, QiWi, Neteller and Skrill, then the amounts taken out of your account can be with you inside four hours. The maximum time you’d have to wait is 24 hours. There is also WebMoney available, the times for that are four hours to 30 hours.
Apple Pay
This is another payment method that can be used with Betfair. If it is your chosen method, then it will take two to five working days for a withdrawal to return to that account.
Bank Transfers
With a UK Express Bank Transfer there isn’t too long to wait. The amount withdrawn can be with you the next working day. There are some fees that will have to be paid though. If it’s a UK Standard Bank Transfer, then the wait is a little bit longer. It will be two to three working days before you will have access to your withdrawal. If it is a non-UK bank transfer being used, the time it takes to get back to your account is two to five working days.
