Ecuador in the last four?
Our experts have long been imagining the possible scenarios for the final draw of this Copa America 2024. The only real surprise to be found in our prediction table for the Copa America 2024 is Ecuador. Mexico, Colombia, Chile and the USA, for example, are in the quarter-finals, but these nations remain outsiders in the competition!
Ecuador's presence in the semi-finals could still surprise many, especially as the average odds offered by bookmakers to get to this stage of the tournament are 3.00. A very interesting bet to try, which could triple your stake!
Ecuador's presence in the semi-finals could come as a surprise to many.
In fact, the odds of them finishing top of their group, Group B, are 2.60 on average at online sports betting sites. In a group with Mexico, Venezuela and Jamaica, the main contenders are of course the Mexicans, but it is thought that Ecuador can manage to finish in first place.
With excellent players like Piero Hincapité (Bayer Leverkusen), Moisés Caicedo (Chelsea) and Enner Valencia (Internacional), Félix Sánchez Bas's squad looks capable of competing. An interesting side at the 2022 World Cup, for example, with four points from the group stage and a draw against the Netherlands, this team is not to be underestimated !
Goalscorer bets
While the likes of Lionel Messi, Vinicius and Darwin Nunez will obviously be expected to score during the Copa America, there are a few strikers to keep an eye on in the lesser nations on paper, who are not considered outsiders, let alone favourites. Some very good odds could be waiting for you!
Indeed, since these players play in nations programmed set to struggle - on paper at least - in Copa matches, these striker odds could well triple or even quadruple your bet...
Below, we've put together a list of goalscorer bets to try during the Copa America 2024 :
- Gianluca Lapadula (Peru)
- Enner Valencia (Ecuador)
- Ismael Diaz (Panama)
- Salomon Rondon (Venezuela)
- Steven Cardenas (Costa Rica)
- Michail Antonio (Jamaica)
- Jose Fajardo Nelson (Panama)
- Demarai Gray (Jamaica)
- Carmelo Algaranaz (Bolivia)
- Antonio Sanabria (Paraguay)
- Joel Campbell (Costa Rica)
With players who are fairly well known to the general public and others who some will probably discover, there are some great odds to be had, so don't hesitate to try your luck !
