Mehidy Hasan Miraz: Player of the Tournament
Khulna Tigers’ all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz established himself as the out-and-out king of the BPL by delivering consistently impressive performances throughout the competition with both the bat and ball. Miraz ended the 2025 BPL as the eighth-highest run scorer at the tournament with 355 runs averaging 27.30 runs per inning at a strike rate of 132.90. On top of that, the all-rounder made a significant impact with the ball, finishing as one of the top 10 wicket-takers with 13 scalps at an economy rate of 7.25. These incredible contributions earned Miraz Taka 10 lakh and the coveted BPL 2025 Player of the Tournament award.
Mohammad Naim: Highest Run-Scorer
With the bat, Khulna Tigers' opener Mohammad Naim put all doubts to rest with remarkable performances throughout the competition. Spanning the 14 matches he featured in, the 25-year-old amassed an incredible 511 runs at an average of 42.58 and a strike rate of 143.94. Naim’s standout knock of the tournament came against the Rangpur Riders, where he posted an unbeaten 111 runs off just 62 balls including 15 boundaries. The Tigers’ batsman had never previously finished above a 120 strike rate in past seasons, illustrating the incredible leap forward he took this year. Across the 2025 BPL, Naim notched up four half-centuries, and his 511-run tally now stands as the second-highest in the history of the BPL, only five runs behind Nazmul Hossain Shanto’s 516 back in 2023.
Taskin Ahmed: Highest Wicket-Taker
With the ball in hand, Durbar Rajshahi’s paceman Taskin Ahmed emerged as the undisputed bowler of the tournament with a spellbinding performance that set a new benchmark in the BPL. The right-arm speedster broke the record for claiming the most scalps in a single BPL season by knocking over a staggering 25 wickets in just 12 matches at an average of just 12.04. Ahmed’s greatest highlight of the tournament was an unforgettable spell of 7/19, which is not just the best-ever figures in the BPL, but is now also a top-three bowling performance in all of T20 cricket.
Tanzid Hasan Tamim: Emerging Player of the Tournament
The BPL is a stage upon which the brightest young stars of cricket can show off their ability and gain recognition. This year Tanzid Hasan Tamim earned his place in the spotlight as one of the most consistent batsmen, finishing the tournament as the second-highest run-scorer with a remarkable 485 runs from 12 matches. His impressive average of 44.09 and strike rate of 141.39 were invaluable for Dhaka Capital and his power-hitting was a marvel to behold. Tamim blasted a total of 36 maximums - the most by a Bangladeshi player in a single BPL season - surpassing Towhid Hridoy’s record of 24 sixes in 2023 by 12. Among several memorable performances, Tamin’s blistering 108-run knock stood out from the rest and contributed heavily to earning him the Best Emerging Cricketer of the Tournament award.
Tamim Iqbal: Player of the Match (Final)
BPL 2025 champions Fortune Barishal were led to victory in the final by none other than Tamim Iqbal, who delivered a quickfire 54 runs in just 29 balls that sealed the win over the Chittagong Kings. Throughout the tournament, Iqbal scored 413 runs from 14 innings to finish as the fourth-highest run-scorer with an average of 37.54. His best knock in the competition was 86 not out, while he also claimed the record for hitting the most fours, totalling 51 throughout the competition. Iqbal’s sensational knock against the Kings secured him the Player of the Match award in the 2025 BPL Grand Final.
