International break: Nations League, African Cup of Nations, World Cup... the clashes of November 2024!
by Cydias Aujard | by Cydias Aujard
Focus on the last two rounds of the Nations League!
In England, and in Europe generally, the Nations League is the tournament of greatest importance and interest during the international break. This competition, which has replaced the friendly matches, adds a little more flavour to these breaks, which in recent years have had little rhyme or reason. As usual, Sportytrader will be covering 100% of the remaining matches in our Nations League predictions, so don't hesitate to take advantage!
What's more, Lee Carsley's men, had a rather mixed final round of matches in October, with a very surprising defeat by Greece (1-2) and a vital victory over Finland (1-3), but were able to extend their lead and still put themselves in the clear in Group 2: they are now virtually assured of second place, and still have a chance of going top...
With Greece only three points ahead and England's next game away to Greece, it's a safe bet that there will be plenty of excitement. Without further ado, here is our selection of the most interesting matches over the next few days.
