Saina Nehwal, born March 17, 1990, made history by becoming the first Indian woman to achieve the world number one ranking in 2015. A bronze medalist at the London Olympics in 2012, Nehwal has consistently performed at the highest level, bagging numerous titles, including multiple Commonwealth Games golds. She also became the first Indian woman to win a BWF Super Series title.
