Overview of the 2025 Super Bowl
Super Bowl LIX is officially here! From what began as a field of 32 teams, only two are left standings - the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles - and both sides are ready to fight to the death for the coveted Lombardi Trophy.
The 59th edition of this grand spectacle will unfold at the iconic Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9, marking the 11th time the Big Easy will host the Super Bowl and the eighth time it has been held at the legendary Superdome.
Aside from the action on the field, there are also several performers scheduled to feature at the Super Bowl, including Grammy Award winner Kendrick Lamar, who will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl 59 Halftime Show at this year’s game, and he will be joined on stage by American singer-songwriter SZA.
The 2025 Super Bowl will be available across both free-to-air terrestrial TV and premium paid sports channels across the UK.
How to Watch the Super Bowl on TV in the UK?
This year, ITV is the place to watch the Super Bowl live on free-to-air TV, taking over from the BBC. In Scotland, the match will be available on STV, while viewers from Ireland can tune in to Virgin Media One.
For those who prefer a more in-depth experience, Sky Sports is your go-to destination, airing the game live on both the Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports NFL channels. Sky Sports subscriptions typically start from around £20 depending on your package.
