The first half of December will bring us a flurry of football from all the top leagues across Europe, but all eyes will be on the final UEFA Champions League week of the year, which will take place over December 10 and 11. During the final matchday of 2024, we will see a few box-office matchups, including Liverpool taking on Girona, Juventus playing host to Manchester City and a replay of the UEFA Super Cup with Atalanta facing Real Madrid.
Heading into the final couple of weeks of 2024, the English Premier League will take centre stage with a whopping 29 matches scheduled from December 21 to the year-end, with the final match coming from Old Trafford where Manchester United will be playing Newcastle United on December 30.

European Rugby Rivals Roar into Action
After a thrilling month of Autumn Nations Series matchups, club rugby resumes in December with the European Rugby Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup bursting onto your screens from December 6, with Bath facing off against La Rochelle before a double-header between the Dragons vs. Montpellier and Gloucester taking on Edinburgh.
While both the Champions and Challenge Cup will pause midway through the month, Top 14 resumes on December 21 and continues until the end of the year. Fight fans will be licking their lips this December as the UFC heads back to Las Vegas for UFC 310 on December 7, headlined by Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Asakura for the UFC Flyweight Championship. The co-main event will see Shavkat Rakhmonov vs Ian Machado Garry in a UFC Welterweight title eliminator, while Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov will duke it out in the Heavyweight division. Additionally, Power Slap 10 will take place on December 12 with three title fights, including Damien Dibbell vs. Dorian Perez, Isiah Quinones vs. Branden Bordeaux, and Anthony Blackburn vs. Emanuel Muniz.
Between December 10 - 15, the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship 2024 will be in full swing at the Sabiazinho Arena in Uberlandia, Brazil, featuring eight of the best club teams from across the world.
