Away Wins Combo
- Saturday May 7: Charlton v Burnley in the Championship (KO 12.45pm) – Burnley to win – Odds
- Saturday May 7: Hannover v Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga (KO 2.30pm) – Hoffenheim to win – Odds
- Sunday May 8 : Levante v Atletico Madrid in La Liga (KO 4pm) – Atletico to win – Odds
The last two weekend combos have produced big wins so let's hope for a hat-trick. Here's three away teams whose supporters can have a happy trip home after another win.
If I place a £250 win treble on these three games with it will return a handy £865.47 (odds of 2.46/1) so let's hope for some good luck this weekend.
Here's why this bet will win
- Charlton v Burnley
The most excitement Charlton fans get these days is when they demonstrate against the club's owners. They have already seen their favourite team relegated to League One and the win against Leeds last week ended a run of five games without a win. That includes defeats and demonstrations galore in their last two home matches meaning it's just two home wins in the last 13. The last was a 3-1 defeat to third placed Brighton and Hove Albion and this final game of the season is against top of the table Burnley who are already assured of Premier League football next season. No celebrating though because they are yet to clinch the league title so will be desperate for a win here. They haven't lost in the league since last December and are on a 22 game unbeaten won. One final game in the Championship and it'll end with a win that sees them crowned champions.
- Hannover v Hoffenheim
Hannover are bottom of the table and already relegated but it's the form of the visitors that really has me interested. Hoffenheim are 13th in the table and could still go down as they are only four points above the bottom two. A league table based on both the last ten and 15 league games has them in fourth place. They did lose at Monchengladbach but they are chasing a Champions League place and excellent at home. Hoffenheim have won three of their last four helping to ease their relegation fears and won two of the last three on their travels. Hannover are rock bottom 11 points behind the rest of the league. At home this season they have won three and lost 13 so this could be the win for Hoffenheim that confirms their Bundesliga safety.
- Levante v Atletico Madrid
It's already been a big week for Atletico as they clinched their place in the Champions League final. A Champions League/La Liga double is still a possibility with them trailing Barcelona only on goal difference with two games to go. They have won their last six on the trot in La Liga and have just one loss in the last 14. Levante are bottom of the table and all but down because of their poor goal difference. They have rallied lately but struggle against the very best in La Liga so I expect Atletico to get the win that will take the title race to the last day of the season.
