• West Ham to beat Crystal Palace

West Ham really should be able to win this game and the price is a really good one. They start this weekend in fifth place, one point off the Champions League places. The Hammers have won five of their last six home games and are unbeaten in their last five league games. Palace are in terrible form in the Premier League this year and are still looking for their first league win of the year. They could yet be dragged into a relegation battle, not surprising with just two points from their last ten league matches.

• Partick to beat Kilmarnock

Partick Thistle are eighth in the table, three places and nine points ahead of their opponents who are in deep relegation trouble. Partick have lost their last two home games but they were against the top two sides in the table who are a class above the rest. They lost both games narrowly 2-1 so are in decent form and last week won away at Hamilton. Before those losses to the top two they had won four of their last five home games. Kilmarnock are one from bottom and have gone six games without a win. Away from home they have lost four of the last five league matches. Their last game against Partick was in November when they lost to them 5-2 at home.

• Juventus to beat Empoli

Juventus lead the table by three points and have won their last four league matches scoring nine and conceding just once. The last 20 league games have seen them win 19 and draw with Bologna. Over those 20 games they have earned 12 points more than any other team in Serie A and 33 more than their opponents. Empoli are 11th in the table and are on a poor run of form with no wins in their last 11 league games. They lost 3-1 at home to Juventus earlier in the season.
