- Real Madrid v Espanyol
The Spanish side are scoring for fun at home recently with a staggering 27 goals in their last five games. Espanyol are down in 13th in the table and look the latest lambs to the slaughter. They have gone seven league and cup games without a win and their last three games have all had over 2.5 goals scored in them. Madrid really should score a few more in this game.
- Colchester United v Tottenham Hotspur
It’s the FA Cup Fourth Round in England this weekend. Colchester are bottom of League One (two leagues below the Premier League) and host Tottenham who are fourth in the Premier League. The visitors are in great form and have a strong squad, Colchester are having a dreadful time and eight of their last ten home games have had more than 2.5 goals scored in them. Spurs should win this comfortably and more than 2.5 goals is a good bet.
- Crystal Palace v Stoke City
Two teams that aren’t scoring that many goals at present. Palace have scored just three goals in their last seven games and one in the last three and that was an own goal. Stoke City have scored one goal in their last three games (two 90 minute games and one lasting 120 minutes). In terms of goals scored in the Premier League this season Stoke are 16th and Palace 17th so a low-scoring affair is likely here.
