Just Why this bet should be a Winner

Munich lead 1-0 after the first leg and Benfica will be both delighted and disappointed with that result. Delighted it’s only 1-0 after conceding in the early moments of the game but disappointed at the lack of an away goal after managing to get ten goal attempts. They have to come out attacking here and that could mean a few goals here. Benfica are in good form, while Munich are seven points clear at the top of the Bundesliga and nearly have the title. Half of Munich’s away games and half of Benfica’s home games have had more than 2.5 goals scored in them. I reckon this will have some goals, especially as Munich will be dead keen to get an away goal to really increase the pressure on the home side.

Even if Real Madrid fail to get past Wolfsburg, there’ll still be one Spanish side in the last four. Barcelona lead 2-1 from the first leg, the third time this season they have beaten Atletico by that score line. It wasn’t easy though and they had to come from a goal down. Saturday saw Barcelona lose away to Real Sociedad and are only three points clear at the top now. Atletico have to come out and attack here and just as at Benfica, the away side will be desperate to get that crucial away goal. I see Barcelona doing that and have scored in all four of their away Champions League games this season. Atletico have scored in three of their four home games so a bet on over 1.5 goals should be ok here.
